EDA Technology Co., Ltd. (EDATEC) was established in 2017 by a team top managers from Embest Technology (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Premier Farnell). EDATEC is a technology-oriented enterprise and also a nationally certified high-tech enterprise. The General Manager was the Global Technology Service Director of Premier Farnell, the General Manager of Embest Technology, and the Design Service Director of Arrow in China. 

The founder and core team of EDATEC have been engaged with Raspberry Pi¹ (see Note) since 2012 while working at Embest Technology, including support of the global release and bulk production of the first generation of Raspberry Pi and then the bulk production of the second generation of Raspberry Pi, the third generation of Raspberry Pi, the first and second generations of Raspberry Pi camera module, the Raspberry Pi 7" touch screen, SenseHAT and other Raspberry Pi products. The founder and core team of EDATEC were authorized as the sole global design partner of Raspberry Pi and served hundreds of global customers with BCM2835/BCM2836/BCM2837 based custom and manufacturing services.

Started in 2017, EDATEC has been certified as one of the global design partners of Raspberry Pi since 2018, providing Raspberry Pi based industrial computers design and manufacturing services for global customers.

PRODUCT & SERVICE

EDATEC has accumulated abundant experience on multiple Raspberry Pi based hardware designs, low level firmware development, and mechanical and industry applications over the past 10 years.Based on Raspberry Pi platform, multiple Linux based industrial computers have been released by EDATEC and the solutions have been popularly recognized by the global customers in the fields of Industrial Automation, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Photovoltaic & Wind Power Management, Smart Agriculture, and others.

Beyond standard EDATEC branded Raspberry Pi based industrial computers and accessories, EDATEC has been dedicated to serving our customers with customized design and manufacturing services.

EDATEC has development centers in Shanghai, Wuhan, and Shenzhen in China. EDATEC also has a supporting team in the USA, which targets global marketing and business.

EDATEC owns a factory in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, China that is certified with ISO9001 standards and staffed with a professional team from Jabil, Delta, and Foxconn, our factory is equipt to manufacture multiple products, each of small quantities, even with complicated manufacturing procedures.
